WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
This is the question I dread being asked the most. I used to answer, “I’m a stay-at-home mom,” (SAHM), to which the reactions have ranged from a slow confused nod, to a fleeting expression of distaste.

Sometimes we can’t be very choosy about the mom friends that we do make and thus, become friends with someone solely because they also have kids.
It can be difficult to make or even keep mom friends, let alone find the time when all of you can hang out. So when it does happen for us, we try to make it memorable.
We need time away to reconnect with the other moms in our village, in order to be better moms in our families.
