I am constantly telling Pumpkin, who is a notoriously picky eater, to chew her food thoroughly before swallowing.
“Small bites,” I’m always reminding her, “then swallow.”
This morning, I sat at the table, head in my hands—exhausted and with a very long to-do list running through my mind, while Pumpkin sat eating her breakfast.
“Small bites. Small bites.”
I looked up to see her instructing her spoonful of cereal, before putting it in her mouth.
I guess I need reminding too, sometimes!
Do your kids sometimes offer their own nuggets of wisdom when you need it most?

Hahaha 😝 relatable 😄..!
Glad you think so! 🤣
Awe. Just when you think they’re not listening, they repeat what you’ve been telling them.
Good thing for us parents! 😂
Yep 😂
Oh, how precious!! They seem to always know just what we need to hear. 🙂
Yes, and in my case, I sometimes need to be in the right frame of mind to hear it 🙂
Small bites and swallow…good advice for life’s stresses!
I agree….wise words!
That sounds adorable! :p
Thanks, it was 🙂
