Thanksgiving is finally upon us! As one of my favorite holidays, I love when the whole family gets involved and brings their own sense of fun to the season.
Arts and crafts are a great way for your kids to be involved with decorating, plus keeps them engaged while the food is being prepared. It also can be a way for them to express what they are grateful for this Thanksgiving.
FALL STAMP ART
Here is a great way to use one of the many leaves falling outside all around us! This tutorial can be found at The Crafty Classroom.
DIY GRATITUDE ROCKS
These are a spin-off of my DIY Positivity Rocks; instead of a positive word, kids can write something they are grateful for, and display it on the table, or show off their rock with the family after the meal.
PAPER PLATE TURKEY CRAFTS
All you need is a paper plate, some construction paper, paint, googly eyes, and a balloon to create this adorable turkey. Tutorial can be found at The Resourceful Mama.
PAPER PLATE PUMPKIN PIE SLICE CRAFT
If you ask me, the best part of the Thanksgiving Feast is dessert, which for me is incomplete without pumpkin pie. Here is a cute paper version your kids can make, from Glued To My Crafts.
However you decide to keep the little ones busy or decorate your home, I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and enjoy your quality time with family!
