Due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, honey can be used to soothe small cuts and burns, providing a natural path to healing.


This is one of my favorites! Whenever I am suffering from a cough, or even just have a tickle in my throat, a spoonful of honey always does the trick. It coats the throat as it goes down, and instantly suppresses that cough!


Some people find relief in consuming raw, local honey to alleviate seasonal allergies. This type of honey contains small amounts of pollen that can help the body boost its own immunity and fight seasonal allergy symptoms.

So far, we’ve touched upon uses for honey during the day. But did you know that honey can also help with giving you a good night’s sleep as well?
