the bliss list: january 2016

Hi lovelies!

Happy New Year 2016! Welcome to another edition of The Bliss List!

Each month, I will discuss two blogs that I follow and a bit about the blogger behind each one. Practicing daily gratitude is so important to me and I love the concept of paying it forward, so I thought this would be a fun way to thank my fellow bloggers on an awesome job. Think of this as a virtual fist-bump from me!

Note: This is NOT a blog award, the kind you see around the blogosphere, that then needs to be passed on to others. To those who will be mentioned here: All you need to do is bask in your awesomeness and keep on doing your thing!

P.S. If you missed The Bliss List last month, check out my blogger picks for December right here.

Nicky, of Nicky’s Day With Autism, chronicles her day-to-day life with her family, including her autistic son MJ. Throughout her posts, Nicky’s love and commitment to MJ shine through, and her blog contains many tips and firsthand experiences relating to autism, like these strategies that worked for her.

In East-West Love Story, Karen tells us how she met the love of her life and even moved halfway around the world to be with him. She writes about her travels both in and around her adopted country of Singapore, in such countries as Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. Karen also shares recipes inspired by her travels. Check out this amazing Malaysian chicken curry recipe!

  1. This is a great idea! And I adore the pressure-free lack of blog award “tag your it” nonsense.

I’d like to recommend Problems with Infinity as an amazingly humorous and entertaining blog. One of my favorites.

  3. Thank you so much for including me in this list. It took years for me to be able to talk about my life with MJ openly and freely. The beginning was so difficult and filled with fear. Years later I can see how far my son has come and now I anticipate each new day.
