the bliss list: august 2015

-Joseph Campbell

Hi lovelies!

It’s time once again for The Bliss List!

Each month, I will discuss two blogs that I follow and a bit about the blogger behind each one. Practicing daily gratitude is so important to me and I love the concept of paying it forward, so I thought this would be a fun way to thank my fellow bloggers on an awesome job. Think of this as a virtual fist-bump from me!

Note: This is NOT a blog award, the kind you see around the blogosphere, that then needs to be passed on to others. To those who will be mentioned here: All you need to do is bask in your awesomeness and keep on doing your thing!

P.S. If you missed The Bliss List last month, check out my blogger picks for July right here.

Blanche is the cook behind Feast in the Middle East. Her yummy recipes all have a Middle Eastern origin with a modern flair. Her recipes are even easier to follow via the videos on her Youtube channel. Check out this recipe for Mediterranean Garlic Shrimp accompanied by a video where she shares step-by-step instructions on how to get this dish on the table in five minutes!

Carole of Drop Me Anywhere really is adventurous. Her one-of-a-kind blog invites readers to vote from a list of destinations where to send her on her next global jaunt. Once the votes are in, she departs for the new destination within the following two weeks, writing and photographing her way through yet another foreign country, documenting the culture and food, as well as where to stay and what to do there. She also seeks out volunteer opportunities in each location so as to give back to the local community. Carole is currently in New Zealand—go see what she’s up to!

Would you like to give a shout-out to a blog you love? Let me know in the comments below!

Spread the love on Twitter by sharing a blog you admire with the hashtag #HMHTheBlissList. Let’s pay it forward!
